Following last week's disaster we had a reshuffled line up. With Jack Dymoke returning to the fold and Ludo Millar making his debut, after impressing on his recent fitness camp in South Africa.
Playing Red Star level on points with us we could virtually guarantee a top two finish with a positive result.
But as per usual we fell behind after being caught short at the back and them clinically moving the ball around the defender and keeper that were back. But this time we kept our composure a hell of a lot better and remained structured and confident.
This measured approach was rewarded early in the second half when Jan Borkowski slotted one past the keeper into the bottom corner. Even after equalising we still had all the play.
But time was ticking away and it was certainly deserved when A. Lowe plucked the ball out the air and volleyed it giving the keeper no chance.
The result was slightly soured by the news that our big rivals had smashed our conquerors 4-0. Meaning we need a big swing as well as a 3 point swing on the final day of the season.
